About Madison Jewish Center

Our 77th Year of Serving the Community

Madison Jewish Center was established in 1931 in the heart of Brooklyn.  We are located in the Madison neighborhood, just four miles north of Sheepshead Bay and serve the Madison, Marine Park, Sheepshead Bay and Midwood communities.

We are a Egalitarian Conservative congregation affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.  Madison Jewish Center is proud to sponsor B'Nai Brith Youth Organization Chapters Ruach AZA and Ruach BBG.

Madison offers a variety of programs including a vibrant Talmud Torah and Parents Association, Social Club, USY/Kadima chapters and an active Sisterhood .  We are in the process of remodeling our sanctuary.  Follow this link to see pictures of our new bima.

Our new Minyanaires' Club will help ensure that MJC's prayer services, morning and evening, weekday or Holy Day will have a minyan.  Please contact the Center office for an application!
